Pat Tedesco Memorial Pilgrimage: September and October 2015, Raising Funds for Hospices
Dr. William Tedesco who practiced family medicine in the Glen Falls, NY region for over 50 years has recently retired from his full time work at Irongate Family Practice. This does not mean that he has slowed down or that he is not involved in health care initiatives in our community. For decades, Dr. T has been an active advocate for access to palliative care and end of life hospice care. Dr T has worked tirelessly with fellow physicians and volunteers who operate The House of Grace, and High Peaks Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., Dr. T is known for his commitment. Dr T is on the Board of Directors for The House of Grace.
To kick off his retirement, Dr. T is walking the 500 mile Camino de Santiago in Spain, a trek known as the Way of St. James. To give purpose to his undertaking, Dr. T will donate $2 per mile to The House of Grace and High Peaks Hospice and Palliative Care. This gift is to honor the memory of his beloved wife, Pat and the mission of these two community organizations.
Please consider giving a donation to support these two hospice organizations. You can make on donation on line at his GoFundMe page or send a check to The House of Grace at 33 Henry St, Glens Falls, NY 12801.
We are in the process of lining up the rest of our 2015 events schedule so please check back frequently for updates!
